It is once again the time to avail my annual vacation leave at the office. For this year’s great getaway plan, I am considering going to Rome, New York or probably in Madrid. Now that I have sufficient time in planning, I will get as much information prior to booking hotels or apartments. I’ve been burned with a previous experience where I paid a whole lot of money in a hotel that sucked in service prior to finding out that I have been tricked into believing that they are charging me the usual hotel rate in that area. Imagine how I felt when they charged me $300 per night and then knowing that other hotels, those that are definitely better is only charging $180 to $200 per night. Last night, I logged on the net and typed in keywords such as apartments Rome, hotel New York and Hotel Madrid. Now I have a dozen or so hotels in my list with prices and list of services that I can compare and use to decide which accommodation will give me the best value for my money. Now, I can already call myself a smart traveler and I am sure that there will be no irritating experience for this trip.
