Funding & Sponsorship
The Bama in Boston Scholarship is made possible through the generosity and collective support of our membership and community partners. This Scholarship is funded in part by proceeds from local Chapter membership dues and the sale of official Chapter merchandise. However, our scholarship program would not be what it is today without the extraordinary generosity of the ownership group of Dillon's — the beloved restaurant that has proudly served as the official home of our Chapter's watch parties and alumni events since 2019.
Since 2023, Dillon's has been a proud and dedicated supporter of our Chapter, generously allocating a portion of every "Yellowhammer" signature cocktail sold during our watch parties as a direct donation to the Chapter's Scholarship Fund.Their ongoing contribution has had a tangible and lasting impact on the students we are able to support each year. We are proud to call Dillon's not merely a venue, but a true partner in our mission. Please see below for a list of past Scholarship recipients.
Use of Scholarship Funds
The Bama in Boston Scholarship is specifically designated to assist recipients with the cost of books, course materials, or other school supplies. As a condition of accepting this Scholarship, recipients are asked to honor this intended purpose and direct their scholarship funds accordingly. This focus reflects our Chapter's belief that access to the tools of learning is fundamental to student success, and it is our privilege to help make those resources more accessible.
